More than a week after the Israeli attack began, Lebanon is being destroyed, Hizbullah remains intact. Many Lebanese businesses and factories are counting their immense losses, wondering what they did to Israel, and how destroying their plants and businesses can lead to lasting peace in the region. The Israeli Air Force has failed to stop the rocket attacks on Israeli cities, as evidenced by the attack on Haifa today. This vindicates those of us who argued that the disproportionate and blind Israeli attack can only empower Hizbullah, and certainly not increased security for Israel.
